Regarding election to the Idaho Supreme Court |

To the Editor: I am writing to encourage Boundary County voters to re-elect Idaho Supreme Court Justice Joel Horton. Justice Horton was appointed to be a district court judge by Governor Batt, and by Governor Otter to the Supreme Court. He has distinguished himself during his career through his work ethic, professionalism, intelligence, and commitment to justice. Justice Horton does not legislate from the bench. I have known Justice Horton for almost 30 years, starting in law school at the University of Idaho. During that time he has distinguished himself in private practice, as a prosecuting attorney, as a magistrate judge and district judge, and as a member of the Supreme Court. He constantly strives to achieve an independent, fair-minded pursuit of justice. Join me in voting for Justice Horton to continue his distinguished service to Idahoans for years to come. |
