Do you enjoy attending quality performing arts
productions right here in Boundary County? If
so, please join Friends of the Arts at 5 p.m.
Friday, March 22, in the banquet room of Mugsy’s,
7161 Main Street, Bonners Ferry, to help plan
its new chapter. Friends of the Arts, Boundary County’s local art council, is seeking local residents to fill a number of upcoming vacancies on its Board of Directors and for volunteers to help keep the arts a vital part of our community. Over the past 11 years, Friends of the Arts has brought three Broadway musical theater productions from New York City, national and international professional dance companies, musicians and puppeteers to our humble, small town. Over the years, Friends of the Arts has done its part to support local artists, also. It has showcased many local talents, sponsored the traveling Missoula Children’s Theater, and supported a variety of local activities. If you are interested in helping bring high-caliber performing arts to our great community, please plan to attend the meeting to learn more.
