Sofa raffle to benefit senior meals

Rich and Sherry Beck and the crew at Beck's Furniture, 6443 McCall Street, Bonners Ferry, recently looked over their awesome selection to find just the perfect item to donate for a raffle to help support the Senior Meals Program that not only serves up great meals at the Bonners Ferry Senior Center, but delivers meals to seniors who can't get out, ensuring they have nutritious hot meals on which to stay healthy and happy. And they came up with a winner, a beautiful light colored leather sofa with electric recliners on both ends that will bring elegant comfort and fit with the decor of any living room it's made home in, and someone will take it home when the drawing is held on Valentine's Day Wednesday, February 14. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20, and you can get yours at Beck's Furniture or at the Bonners Ferry Senior Hospitality Center, 6635 Lincoln Street, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, volunteers will be selling tickets Saturday at Super 1 Foods, and will be offering them at Safeway soon as well. And if you're going to go to the Senior Center to get your tickets, why not consider having lunch with them? great lunches are served up at noon sharp every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday, and they are not just for seniors, but for kids of all ages!
