Snow advisory issued
December 9, 2016
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow for the Idaho Panhandle, in effect until 10 a.m. Saturday.

Less than an incgh is expected to fall in valley areas today, but overnight snowfall is expected to intensify, bringing two to three inches by morning and up to six inches in the mountains.

Northwest winds of five to 15 miles per hour, gusting to 20 miles per hour, could reduce visibility and slick road conditions are expected during the afternoon commute, particularly at higher elevations.
