April 5, 2018
by Michael Meier
Boundary County Idaho
Director of Emergency Management
Public Information Officer

Boundary County Residents have been receiving plastic Easter eggs with various types of material within the egg throughout the County mailboxes. All these eggs have been harmless at this time and have been nothing more than a prank.

Going forward if you receive a plastic Easter egg in your mailbox do not handle it or transport the egg to any agency or office.

Call the Sheriff’s Office at 208-267-3151 for a Sheriff Deputy or City Police to investigate the egg for finger prints and dangerous materials, and possibly transport the egg in a portable bomb box if needed.

During a real emergency please call 911 and state your name, location, and type of emergency.
