Two young Bonners Ferry teens are missing and
may be endangered. Kaia Kramer, 13, was last
seen at home by her mother at 1:30 a.m. today.
She is believed to be with Alisa Hannaman,
thought to be 14 or 15, but it is unknown who
the girls may be with. A ping of one of the
girl's cell phones came back to a tower in
Montana.
Details are scarce; Kaia's mom, Melissa, said
she has not noticed her daughter with any new
friends, youth or adult. She has no idea where
the girls' destination might be. Kaia, is a
student at Boundary County Middle School, Alisa
at Bonners Ferry High School.
But their disappearance follows a pattern that
they might have been "groomed" with promises of
jobs, clothes, freedom and excitement, things
young girls who feel stuck in a small town might
find alluring. But, if the worst may be at play,
will turn out to be a grave nightmare.
Anyone who has any information or who sees or
suspects they've seen these girls is asked to
call the Boundary County Sheriff's Office, (208)
267-3151, extension 0. If it appears the girls
are not safe or are being held against their
will, call 911 and alert authorities
immediately. |
