Winter weather could finally be coming
November 29, 2016
After a relatively mild November, the arrival of December could finally bring the onset of winter, with the next six days in a row offering a good chance of snowfall, and temperatures predicted to drop into the single digits a week from today.

According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance we'll wake up to a skiff of snow Wednesday morning, and then a 70-percent chance of light snow showers, mainly between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Predictions for light snowfalls of less than an inch of snow will continue through the weekend, with daytime temperatures continuing in the mid-30s to low 40s, but on Monday, cold temperatures under partly clearing skies are expected.

On Monday, a high temperature of around 29 is precicted before dipping to around 11 degrees over night. Tuesday's temps are expected to be in the low 20s, dropping to about five degrees over night, and on Wednesday the mercury is expected to rise to just 11-degrees, before cooling down to seven overnight.

Cloud cover is expected to return on Thursday, December 8, along with a 30-percent chance of snow and temperatures hovering in the low 20s through the day and overnight into Friday.
