Expect chilly temps tonight

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory for North Idaho in effect from midnight tonight through 10 a.m. Wednesday.

Temperatures expected to drop into the low single digits tonight, and below zero in some areas of the region, with northeast winds of 10 to 15 miles per hour, gusting to 25 miles per hour, it will feel as cold as -5 to -15 degrees before the thermometer rises into the mid-teens Wednesday afternoon.

Weather is expected to slowly warm over the next week, reaching as high as the low 40s by next Wednesday.
