Warrant served on horse rescue facility

The Boundary County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a horse boarding/horse rescue facility in the Naples area today. The warrant was obtained in conjunction with an investigation into reports that animals were being abused or neglected at the facility.

A licensed veterinarian was present at the time the search warrant was served to assist in assessing and evaluating the condition of the animals.

The investigation is ongoing. According to Chief Deputy Rich Stephens, no arrests have been made at this time.
