Boat Idaho instructional course offered |

The Bonner County Sheriff’s Office will be
conducting three separate sessions of a Boat
Idaho Course over the next three months. Dates
of the single-day training sessions are: April
14, May 5 and June 9. These classes are designed
for the boating public who wish to learn basic
boating laws and safety. Each class will begin
at 9:00 a.m. at the Marine Division boat house
located at 4001 North Boyer Road, Sandpoint,
Idaho. The
class is expected to last about six hours. It is
free to the public and is open to residents of
any state.
This course will teach you about boating safety
and requirements, including necessary equipment.
Basic boating laws and the rules of the road
with regard to navigation and boater courtesy
will also be covered
