William H. Clark, Jr., 92, passed away Sunday, February 19, 2017, at the Sunset Home Assisted Living Facility, Bonners Ferry. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, February 27, at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading, Pennsylvania. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

He was the husband of Mary A. (Martorana) Clark.

Born in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late William H., Sr. and Helen E. (Keller) Clark.

William was a 1942 graduate of Norristown High School, served as an apprentice at Textile Machine Works for three years and was a graduate of Wyomissing Polytechnic Institute.

William was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in France, Belgium, Holland and Germany.

He worked as a tool maker for 30 years at Western Electric, AT & T and Lucent Technologies, retiring in 1986.

He was a member of West Lawn United Methodist Church.

He loved photography and target shooting. William served on the Kenhorst (Pennsylvania) Crime Watch and was also the Scout Master of United Church of Christ Troop 242, Kenhorst, from 1964-1968.

He is survived by sons Robert W. Clark, West Reading, Pennsylvania, David D., husband of Cheryl Clark, Bonners Ferry, and James T., husband of Meegan Clark, Cumru Township, Pennsylvania, step-children Jeanette M., wife of Henry Wewer, Laureldale, Pennsylvania, and Howard J., husband of Mary Einsel, Muhlenberg Park, Pennsylvania. Four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive him.

Services will be Monday, February 27, 2017, at 11 a.m. at Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., 739 Penn Avenue, West Reading. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park.
