Mrs. Hart BCSD Employee of the Month
December 6, 2016
By Principal Lisa Iverson

It’s not every day that a principal gets the opportunity to recognize the efforts of one of their incredible teachers. Today I do. It’s with great honor and admiration that I recognize Mrs. Lyndsay Hart as Boundary County School District’s November Certified Employee of the Month.

Mrs. Hart teaches fifth grade at Mt Hall Elementary. Students and staff would agree that Mrs. Hart is truly something special, and she makes Mt. Hall a fun and safe place to be.

Mrs. Hart lives up north with her husband, Nate, and her two kids, Wyatt and Maddie. Aside from spending time with her family, Mrs. Hart also enjoys the great outdoors, and she is an avid runner. One fun fact about Mrs. Hart is that she’s from the East Coast, so you can catch her on a Sunday rooting for her favorite NFL team, the New England Patriots.

What I truly admire about Mrs. Hart is her dedication to her students. Mrs. Hart taught first grade for 10 years before making the jump to fifth. Even with big shoes to fill, Mrs. Hart took on the challenge, and made fifth grade an exciting place where students are challenged, nurtured, and prepared for their next adventure of middle school.

Outside of her classroom, Mrs. Hart helps out by filling in as Lead Teacher. Mrs. Hart takes on this big responsibility with tremendous patience and grace. I truly appreciate her in this role. It’s a huge undertaking and sometimes takes Mrs. Hart away from her class, but she does it with ease.

In addition to Lead Teacher, Mrs. Hart also finds time in her day to meet with students of all grades. Her classroom is a popular spot for students to eat lunch, and she is constantly inspiring the students at Mt Hall through her role as our Student Leadership advisor.

It’s a great honor to work with a teacher with as much dedication as Mrs. Hart. She not only inspires students to do their best, but also staff. She is a compassionate leader, and so worthy of this honor. Thank you, Mrs. Hart for all you do for the students and staff at Mt. Hall Elementary.

Go Mrs. Hart and Go Wildcats!
