Badgers ride a long way to beat the Lions

The Badgers traveled to Lincoln County High School on Wednesday in Eureka and both the boys and girl's varsity got on the bus for the long ride home with wins.

The Badger boys, led by Seth Bateman, who put up 26 points, defeated the Lions 62-44 while the girls notched their ninth non-league season win, 54-44, with Badger Kadi Bateman putting up 17 points. Eureka's Sienna Utter had a good game, putting up 16 to lead the Lions.

The Badger girls travel to Wallace Friday, with the JV squad playing at 5:30 p.m. and varsity tipping off at 7 p.m.

The Badgers host the Priest River Spartans in league play on Saturday for "Camp Shirt Day," with anyone wearing their 2017 Badger Basketball Camp shirt will get in free. Girls JV kicks it off at 3 p.m., followed by the boys JV at 4:40 p.m. The varsity girls take the floor at 6 p.m. and the varsity boys wrap it up at 7:30 p.m.

Next week, the girls travel to Timberlake for a league match on Tuesday, JV at 5:30 p.m. and varsity at 7 p.m., and the boys travel for a non-league match at St. Maries Thursday, JV at 5:30 p.m., varsity at 7 p.m.

It's home again on Saturday, January 13, as the Badgers host the Kellogg Wildcats in league action. Once again, Girls JV kicks it off at 3 p.m., followed by the boys JV at 4:40 p.m. The varsity girls take the floor at 6 p.m. and the varsity boys wrap it up at 7:30 p.m.
