Election Results for Bonners Ferry and Moyie Springs
November 3, 2015

Ballots have been counted in today's elections for the City of Bonners Ferry and the City of Moyie Springs.

According to the unofficial totals, David Sims has been elected for a four-year term as the new Mayor of Bonners Ferry.  Mr. Sims has recently served as Director of the Boundary Economic Development Council.

In the Bonners Ferry city council races, three candidates were in the running for two available four-year council positions, and a single candidate had filed for the two-year council position.

In the voting for Bonners Ferry's two four-year City Council positions, unofficial returns show Rick Alonzo and Connie Wells both retaining their positions on the city council.  Adam Arthur has been elected to continue to serve on the two-year City Council position.

In Moyie Springs, voters had to select two City Council members from the four candidates running for those spots.  Those votes have been counted, and in the unofficial tallies, Terry A. Johnson and Tim Narvaez have been elected to serve in those positions on the Moyie Springs City Council.
