Keough seniority emphasized
October 17, 2014

October 17, 2014

To the Editor:

I want to bring to the attention of the voters how important your vote is this November. Senator Shawn Keough has worked tirelessly for us in Boundary and Bonner Counties, and represented us well.

As the number 2 ranking member of the Idaho Senate, she works for our interests. Because of this seniority she has the ability to choose which committee assignments she feels will be most beneficial to us. It has taken years to achieve this standing for our benefit.

Anyone that is new will have no seniority and little influence on your behalf, especially if they are not a member of either of the two major parties.

Her employer is the Associated Logging Contractors, and anyone who suggests that she does not support the small logger must have moved here recently.

Senator Keough is the only one, with any longevity, personal relationships, and Seniority at the State level; left representing the two northern most counties of Idaho in Boise.

She has lived and worked in our communities for decades and understands the consequences of laws and regulations to us, the citizens.

Now is not the time to deplete the influence of our two counties to Zero.

We have lived with that situation, where everything is controlled by the Southern lawmakers in the state.

Please vote for her, to keep someone with knowledge, relationships and longevity in office, for our benefit.

Darrell Kerby
