Refugee resolution is not grandstanding
December 23, 2015
December 22, 2015

To the Editor:

I understand and respect these opinions about refugee issues. One has to think about the overall picture. These people (refugees) are being let in with out proper vetting. The FBI and Homeland Security have said as much.

With only 1-3% of them being Christian, and the rest being mostly males without children and wives. Our Government has created makeshift wars and installed corrupt officials to establish this situation.

As far as the grandstanding, I feel that this is not the case. Yes, this country is built by the sweat and hard work of "immigrants." We are all part of that history. These times are different. These people want to indoctrinate and kill us. What they are doing across Europe should be proof enough.

Grandstanding? How many of these refugees are you willing to put up in your home? I personally don't want the pay for their freebies. It's hard enough making a living for myself and family. I am glad the commissioners did the right thing and represented the wishes of the county.
