Local woman cured by comedy star

December 4, 2013
Daniel Lawrence "Larry" Whitney
Stephanie Moss
On the first day of Christmas, Stephanie Moss, Highland Flats, was miserable. In bed, fighting a terrible cold. So as more of a joke than anything, she sent a tongue in cheek Facebook message to one of her idols, Daniel Lawrence "Larry" Whitney.

Better know by most as Larry the Cable Guy.

"Larry I need you to cheer me up!" she wrote December 1. "I am sick and stuck in bed! On the first day of Christmas my cold has given me ...one braided rats nest, two empty boxes of Kleenex, three bags of tangerines (gone), four empty bottles of Dayquil, five empty 7-up two liters and countless empty Progresso soups cans. On the second day of Christmas, I need to send my husband on a store run."

She never expected a reply, but just writing eased her misery somewhat.

Then, at 7:45 a.m. Tuesday, her maladies were miraculously cured, she was healed. Larry the Cable Guy wrote back, "Well feel better!"

Her unedited response was, "OMG!! Larry ahhhhhhhhhhh!!! Thank you!!!!!"

She felt so good she did a jig, and still can't believe he replied.

"She is Healed," wrote Clint Beasley. "Damn ur good, Larry!"

"Go to this link EVERYONE and comment or 'LIKE' it, he will see it!!!" Stephanie wrote on Facebook somewhat enthusiastically today.
