2014 Farm Tour to visit Naples

The Boundary Soil Conservation District and Farm
Bureau are once again offering their free
community farm tour. This year’s event will
feature a look at Naples.
They will start the tour at Idaho Granite in
Highland Flats. Next they will look at a unique
barn and cattle feeding operation, and if
weather permits they will next look at a
streambank project completed a few years ago to
see how it is holding up.
A trip through the nostalgic Naples Store and
Naples Inn will surprise many and lunch with a
75th birthday celebration for Farm Bureau and a
forestry project will finish up the day.
Those going on this year's tour will meet at the
Boundary County Fairgrounds at 8 a.m. Friday,
May 16, and should return by 4 p.m. if not
sooner.
