The Great Golf Ball Drop

Five dollars secures an entry into the Great Golf Ball Drop game for a chance to win a 55 inch SMART TV! Perched twenty feet above hole number nine, a bright yellow bucket of golf balls will be turned upside down releasing a cascading free-for-all during Fry Healthcare Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 13, 2014 at Mirror Lake Golf Course.

When the rebounding golf balls come to a stop, the lucky one in the cup will determine the winner of a huge 55” SMART LED Flat Screen TV valued close to $800.00. If a ball doesn’t make it into the hole, the ball nearest the hole is the winner.

Life Flight Networks, Inc., a medical helicopter transport company, sponsors The Great Golf Ball Drop. They purchased the Vizio Flat Screen TV. Funds raised from the ball drop, as well as from the entire Annual Golf Tournament, will join the funds raised last December at the Festival of Trees. Fry Healthcare Foundation will purchase a 15-passenger wheelchair accessible van as soon as enough money is raised.

The Fry Healthcare Foundation has raised a million dollars since its inception in 1994, funding equipment, supplies and items for our local hospital, Boundary Community Hospital.

The Foundation members are standing by with golf balls galore waiting to assign a number to a ball for you. The balls cost $5.00 each. You may buy one or may buy many. You can even choose a number, if you feel that you have a lucky number, and if that number is still open.

You are welcome to come watch the ball-drop, although you do not have to be present to win. If you are playing in the tournament, all the better, you will be there already. Life Flight Network's helicopter will do a fly-over at 6:30 p.m. After the fly-over, watch for the balls to drop from the scissor lift at 6:30 p.m. sharp. All tournament players will have completed the 18-hole course by then.

The Fry Healthcare Foundation appreciates your participation in this fun way to raise funds. And, who knows, maybe you will be the lucky winner.

Entries may be purchased at Riverside Auto Center, as well as, Boundary Community Hospital. For a quick and easy way to purchase entries into the Great Golf Ball Drop, go online to FryHealthcareFoundation.org. Credit cards or PayPal payments are accepted. For more information, call 208-267-6912.
