Kootenai Tribe plans celebration of new hatchery

The Kootenai Tribe of Idaho invites all to celebrate with them the completion of the Twin Rivers Sturgeon and Burbot Hatchery. There will be two days of celebrating, beginning October 9, with a special program and presentations from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Mike Crapo, United States Senator for Idaho, will be on hand and will offer the keynote speech at the celebration.

Following this program, tours of the Hatchery and a social hour will continue from 2:30 until 3:30 p.m.

Coming up on October 25, there will be a Community Open House with Hatchery tours running from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

The new Hatchery is located at the end of Twin Rivers Road, at 1823 Twin Rivers Road in Moyie Springs. All are invited to attend these special programs celebrating this new facility.
