Boundary Community Hospital Auxiliary recently purchased five digital televisions and a surgery cart for the hospital’s Acute Care and Extended Care Facility.

Shannon Rust, manager of the Surgery Department, is delighted with the new cart. “Our department is very appreciative of this gift,” enthused Shannon.

The five televisions donated by the Auxiliary have significantly larger screens than the televisions they replaced. Seahawk and Gonzaga Basketball fans will no longer have to suffer with small television screens while they are convalescing.

The Hospital Auxiliary, a group of friends of the hospital, meets monthly at Chic-n-Chop to plan and implement ways to purchase items for Boundary Community Hospital that will enhance visits to the hospital. Funded by their Annual Pie Sale, and Basket Raffle, they purchase needed items for hospital.

A new raffle is underway to raise funds for additional purchases. Hospital Auxiliary members will be around town selling raffle tickets for a chance to win one of three prizes: a $100 gift certificate to Super 1 Foods, a Thanksgiving Centerpiece from Sugar Plum Floral, and a $25 gift certificate to Chic-n-Chop Restaurant. The one-dollar raffle tickets are also available at the Outpatient Clinic at Boundary Community Hospital. The drawing is November 10, 2015.
