Preliminary hearing rescheduled for man held for failing to report body found at Roman Nose
October 27, 2015
Last Friday was the scheduled date for the preliminary hearing in Magistrate Court in Bonners Ferry for Skyler Ingraham, who is being held in Boundary County Jail in connection with the discovery of the body of Brent Barron, found in the Roman Nose Lakes area in late September.

Mr. Ingraham is being held for failure to notify or delayed notification of death of an individual. Judge Justin W. Julian presided at the hearing.

It was agreed by the parties involved to waive the defendant's right to a timely preliminary hearing, and the hearing was rescheduled for December 18.

In an earlier press release, the Post Falls Police Department, who arrested Mr. Ingraham on a warrant from Boundary County, indicated that it appeared Mr. Baron died as the result of a shooting. A Boundary County Sheriff's Office press release stated that, although they were still investigating the manner and cause of death, it was being investigated as a homicide.

At this time, no other information has been released regarding the death of Mr. Barron.
