County Treasurer reminds all of upcoming
property tax deadline
June 10, 2016
Boundary County Treasurer Susan M. Larson would like to remind all Boundary County taxpayers that the deadline for paying the second half of the 2015 property taxes without penalty is Monday, June 20, 2016.

Reminders were mailed in May for delinquent taxes (if any) and the second half of the 2015 taxes. After June 20th, per Idaho Code, a two percent late charge and interest of one percent per month will be added, retroactive to January 1, 2016 on the second half of the 2015 taxes.

Tax payments can be made in person using check, cash, debit or credit card (convenience fees are charged on all debit/credit card usage) at the Treasurer’s office in room 27 of the Boundary County Courthouse located at 6452 Kootenai Street, Bonners Ferry. Office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Tax payments can be mailed to the Boundary County Treasurer, P.O. Box 218, Bonners Ferry, ID 83805. Mailed payments must be postmarked no later than June 20, 2016 to avoid penalty.

Credit Cards and other payment options are available. However, you will be charged a “Convenience Fee” for these services. Visit the Boundary County Treasurer’s page http://www.boundarycountyid.org/site-page/pay-online for more information.
