More than 160 positions available at upcoming
Hiring Event in Post Falls

Twenty-eight employers will participate in the August 10 hiring event sponsored by the Idaho Department of Labor Kootenai County office.

With more than 160 positions available, job seekers have a wide variety of employment opportunities. Major employers such as Tedder Industries, Kootenai County, Coeur d’Alene School District, Alliance Data, Lowe’s Home Improvement, and Dave Smith Motors each have more than 10 openings to fill.

Several local staffing agencies have upwards of 50 immediate openings in occupations such as general labor, manufacturing, customer service, and office administration. Home health care continues to be one of the most in-demand areas of employment, with positions requiring little or no experience and employers providing training to new hires.

The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to noon at the Idaho Department of Labor, 600 N. Thornton St. in Post Falls.

Participating companies include Aging Better In-Home Care, American Building Maintenance, Accurate Molded Plastics, Aerotek, Alliance Data, Atlas Staffing, Best Western Coeur d’Alene Inn, Coeur d’Alene School District, Comcast, Country Financial, Dave Smith Motors, Express Employment, First Command, Humanix, Integrated Personnel Inc., Kootenai County, Labor Ready, Lowe’s Home Improvement, McDonald’s Restaurants, Merry Maids, Modern Woodman Fraternal Financial, New Horizons Computer Learning Center, ResCare Homecare, Sears Marketing, Shabby Fabrics, Site Solutions, LLC, Tedder Industries and U.S. Air Force.
