John J. Wanner, 87, of Bonners Ferry, passed
away peacefully on September 4, 2014. A
celebration of his life will be held next summer
when all of his children will be here.
He was an Army Veteran of World War II. He
received a Victory Medal and an
 Army
of Occupation Medal.
He followed his sweetheart, Agnes I. Wanner,
whom he married on August 6, 1949, in Yuma,
Arizona.
His passing is felt by his children, Sharon and
her husband, Max Schnuerle , Jesse Wanner, all
of Bonners Ferry, Jody Dieter of Vilcabama,
Ecuador, and Joel and his wife, Melissa Wanner
of Buffalo Minnesota, as well as 12
grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, other
family members and friends.
