Jack Fremont Snodgrass

Jack Fremont Snodgrass was born on June 28, 1937 in Copeland, Idaho to Mont & Mary Snodgrass. Jack passed away in Hospice of North Idaho on March 22, 2015.

Jack attended school in Boundary County. He enlisted in the Army from 1957-1960. He served overseas in an artillery unit in Germany. Jack married Etta Tanner on April 19, 1969. They lived in Everett, WA.
where Jack worked as an equipment operator for King County, until they retired and moved to Bonners Ferry in 2000.

Jack enjoyed being an Eagle's member, gardening, taking care of his chickens and working in his shop. He enjoyed fishing, grouse hunting, and was an avid Seahawks fan.

Jack is survived by 2 sisters, Frances Dunn and Vicki McNally, one step-daughter, Rita Tanner and 3 step-sons, Quinton, Steve & Tim Tanner, several step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great- nieces and nephews, and cousins.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Etta, both parents, three sisters Jerre Stemmene, Ann Galbraith, and Shirley Pedey.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice of North Idaho, 9493 North Government Way, Hayden, Idaho 83835, and write on the check it's for Hospice House on Prairie Avenue in memory of Jack Snodgrass.

There will not be a service, but we will hold a "Celebration of Life" for Jack at the Bonners Ferry Eagles on Friday, April 17 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
