Mae Tritt, age 78, passed away on July 4, 2016
at the Boundary County Nursing Home in Bonners
Ferry, Idaho. Graveside Services will be held on
Friday, July 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m. at the
Grandview Cemetery.
Phyllis Mae Pettit was born in Lansing, Michigan
Sept 12 of 1937 to Earl Emerson Pettit and
Marion Flossie Donley Pettit.
Phyllis grew up in Haslett, Michigan with her
parents and three siblings Ruth, Donna, and
Richard.
Phyllis went to California after graduating high
school in the early 1960’s. She married Everett
Allen Tritt of Bonners Ferry May 4 of 1966, and
came to Bonners Ferry, Idaho.
Phyllis resided in Bonners Ferry where she
raised her three children Joseph Earl Tritt,
Patricia Ann Tritt-Branson, and Michael Allen
Tritt.
Phyllis spent many years as a homemaker, and
then worked as the Activities Director for the
Boundary County Community Restorium.
She enjoyed her family, friends, her crafts,
watching the Seahawks, the mountains, and
fishing the nearby lakes.
Phyllis is survived by her children Jet, Patti,
and Mike; her grandchildren, David, Jordan,
Sammy, Kenny, Sofia, and Gabby.
