Hinthorn is School District Certified Employee of the Month
February 17, 2016
Boundary County Middle School is proud to announce Travis Hinthorn as Boundary County School District’s Employee of the Month!

Travis is very deserving of this recognition because he is a great team player, spends a lot of time making BCMS a better place, and is adaptable.

First, Travis is a team player and helpful whenever he can be. He is the first person to offer help to anybody he sees in need and often volunteers his time for the betterment of BCMS. He gladly covers for other teachers when they ask him to, and helps supervise BCMS events when needed. You will most likely see Travis helping at most events taking place at BCMS if he is not coaching. He also helps by incorporating standards and ideas from other teachers in his classes and does everything he can to help the academics of our school.

Second, Travis spends a lot of time trying to make BCMS a better place. There is a good chance you will see Travis at BCMS during most events. He spends time after hours setting up events and contacting others to make the process seamless for others. He also coaches practically year round and helps students learn to drive during the summer.

BCMS appreciates all the time Travis puts into his work, and we benefit a lot from his passion and commitment.

Finally, Travis is extremely adaptable. It wouldn’t be possible to count the number of times he responds with, “Whatever needs to be done.” It is very comforting to know Travis will do whatever it takes to make BCMS a better place and accept new or different things when it helps BCMS.
