Trying to figure out where you should go
fishing? Idaho Fish and Game has just released
their latest schedule for stocking Panhandle
lakes with fish, and the list includes several
lakes from Boundary County.
These lakes will be stocked with 10 to 12 inch
rainbow trout.
Are you thinking maybe Smith Lake? It is
scheduled for 900 trout during the week of May
18-22. Robinson Lake? It will become the new
home of 1,800 trout that same week. Other

(A point to be aware of: Fish and Game states
that stocking is tentative and dependent on
river/lake/pond conditions (angler safety
concerns); dates may change due to weather or
staffing constraints, but those are the dates
set as of right now).
